- Mental Health Awareness Week Theme is Loneliness
More than a third of us would NEVER admit to someone that we feel lonely. Yet it's a universally shared part of the human experience. Imagine the difference we'd make for the other two-thirds if we just said "I've been there". That's the magic of Clubhouse. #Ivebeenthere#mentalhealthweek#mentalhealthmonth#Clubhouseworks

- Stop Criminalizing Mental Illness
The criminalization of mental illness has to be addressed continually and assertively. A 20-year-old study by NAMI revealed that 1 in 5 incarcerated people suffered from a severe mental illness. Today, that number has doubled. Most are held for non-violent, minor symptoms related to untreated symptoms of their illness. April is 2nd chance month: it's time to end the stigmas and discrimination. Let's focus on programs that work, and creating spaces for people who are recovering in our communities and workplaces. #stopthestigma #mentalillness #clubhouseworks https://www.nami.org/Advocacy/Policy-Priorities/Stopping-Harmful-Practices/Criminalization-of-People-with-Mental-Illness
- Honoring World Health Day 2022
Today, in honor of World Health Day, let's pledge to foster destigmatizing mental illness by continuing an immersive, diverse, and informative dialogue. 43 million Americans experience mental illness every year, facing shame, stigma, and discrimination. Through greater empathy and understanding, we can build a brighter future. #WorldHealthDay #endthestigma #mentalillness #mentalhealth #clubhouseworks
