We were encouraged to see the The Seattle Times editorial board putting its support behind the city's recent investment in expanding Health One — and we wanted to add our support. For too long, we have relied on law enforcement — armed officers who are trained to enforce the law, not to help those experiencing mental health crises — to the growing needs of this community. These interactions often turn violent and even deadly.
